Hermitage Castle, Scotland (Lots of pictures. Photographer says, "Despite the ruins, so much of Hermitage remains intact. The sense of history about the place ispalpable...it did not have an overriding feeling of darkness or foreboding. Quite the opposite. There was a feeling of peace and serenity here that is hard to put into words...There was something very welcoming about it. Certainly the light falling from above gave the place a beautiful glow." ~ SW)
